We’re excited to invite you to participate in the upcoming Future of Health Disrupt Challenge, delivered by UCE in partnership with Te Papa Hauora.
When: Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August 2025, 9am-5pm
Where: Manawa Building, Christchurch Health Precinct
Challenge Briefing Launch: Tuesday, 29th July 2025, 5pm-7pm at UCE
This 48-hour Challenge is your chance to help create ‘A Sustainable Health System’ and tackle important health sector issues like:
- Prevention – How can we more effectively prevent, detect and treat health issues?
- Promotion – How can we better support healthy communities?
- Environment – How can we shape our health system to responsibly utilise resources?
You’ll work in diverse teams, receive mentoring from industry experts, enjoy great food, and pitch innovative solutions to real-world health challenges.
Who can participate?
The Challenge is open to all tertiary students in Canterbury.
Team information:
You can register solo or as a group – we’ll help match individuals to form teams.
