Research for Children Aotearoa – Child Immunisation Research Talks

A fantastic evening of talks being presented by Tony Walls, Anna Howe and Vincent Lomas – across the very important topic of Child Immunisation Research.

Topics ranged from Whooping Cough vaccination in the mother during pregnancy to large scale data sets and how they account for equity when looking at spread of disease, and preventable measures such as immunisation. Lastly the evening closed on measles, and effects post disease, and a reminder of the importance in these immunisations to protect our communities.

A huge thank you to our speakers, Professor Tony Walls, Dr Anna Howe, and PhD candidate Vincent Lomas! And more exciting news that Vincent is a successful awardee of the Royal Society Te Apārangi NZUK Link Foundation scholarship. More details of this story can be found here
